The Shar-pei is a creature that within the many folds of skin

hides the magic conglomerate of the charm of a hippo,

the courage of a lion, the appetite of a pig & the sloth of a seal.

Yet through all this, it is lovable beyond measure.

Ultimately it can win the heart of a hermit,

the life of a workaholic and the love of a dog hater. 

 We dedicated this website to this beautiful and highly intelligent breed- Chinese Shar-pei.  This breed is not for everyone.  Shar pei must have a generous amount of socializing and at least basic obedience.  They are great, loving family dogs.
